Technical due diligence

Know the project before you commit.

Review technical assumptions, documentation and project risks before an investment or acquisition decision.

What an engagement can cover

  • Design and equipment review
  • Yield assumptions and risk register
  • Evidence-led technical report

Start with the right information.

Share the project stage, available designs, technical specifications and the decision you need to make. We will define the review scope, information requirements and reporting responsibilities.

A clear engagement process

  1. Discuss your objectives and the available evidence.
  2. Agree the scope, deliverables, assumptions and responsibilities.
  3. Complete the assessment and review practical next steps.

Before we begin

What will the engagement deliver?

The written scope will identify the assessment, recommendations or implementation support included. Reporting depth and specialist inputs depend on the project.

Are savings or approvals guaranteed?

No. Outcomes depend on the site, consumption, commercial terms, applicable requirements and implementation. Assessments should state assumptions and sensitivities.

How are potential conflicts handled?

Wattscore also undertakes EPC work. Relevant commercial interests and responsibilities must be disclosed when agreeing the engagement; any independent oversight role must avoid reviewing our own delivery.
